   What you see is what you get. ANOGI products do not include any synthetic dyes or coloring agents.

   D&C and FD&C synthetic colors are possible carcinogens and often responsible for irritations and allergic reactions.

Fragrance
   Only 100% pure essential oils offer therapeutic properties including:

• Physical and emotional aroma-therapeutic benefits.
• Synergistic blends that target specific needs.
• Antibacterial and antioxidant
action.

   Synthetic perfumes and fragrances irritate sensitive skin and can cause allergic reactions. Some aromatherapy products can't live up to their claims. If the label doesn’t say pure essential oils, it's probably synthetic.

Emollients
   Natural, botanical-based emollients rich in essential fatty acids have a restructuring activity on the skin.

• Shea Butter
• Evening Primrose Oil
• Hyaluronic acid — a naturally occurring lubricant your body stops producing with age

   Synthetic emollients like mineral oil, petrolatum, and Propylene Glycol are commonly used and inexpensive humectants that offer no benefits other than coating the skin.

Foaming Agents
   Soap-free cleansers that provide a gentle yet effective lather and won’t strip the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

   Detergents derived from petrochemicals such as sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), DEA and TEA-laurel sulfate rob skin’s protective barrier leaving it vulnerable to chronic dryness, environmental aging and breakouts.

Emulsifiers and Thickening Agents:
   Only natural emulsifiers and thickeners that offer extra benefits such as moisturizing, soothing, healing and antioxidant properties.

• Lecithin
• Carrageenan (Irish Moss)
• Candelilla Wax
• Stearic Acid

   Common synthetic emulsifiers include:

• Triethanolamine — or TEA is one
of the most frequently used and
a skin sensitizer
• Hydroxymethyl cellulose

Antibacterial Chemicals:
   ANOGI relies on nature’s germ fighters such as:

• Tea Tree Oil known as a powerful antiseptic.
• Usnea Barbarta which combats bacteria strains, including streptococci and staphylococci.

   The most common ingredient in antibacterial products, triclosan and triclocarban are overused chemicals. Researchers believe that these chemicals may create dangerous, ultra-resistant bacterial strains.

Preservatives:
   A totally natural preservative system utilizing:

• Antioxidant Grape Seed Extract, Green Tea and  Vitamin E
• Nature’s germ fighters such as essential oils of Tea Tree Oil, Rosemary, Lemon and Lavender
• Extract of Usnea Barbata

   Personal care products contain a long list of synthetic preservatives.

• Alpha hydroxyl benzoate can mimic estrogen and disrupt hormones
• Urea and DMDM Hydantoin are “formaldehyde donors” that can irritate the respiratory system,
cause allergies and skin irritations, joint pain and headaches.

Environmentally Friendly Packaging:
   ANOGI uses recyclable, environmentally safe materials and streamlined packaging that avoids waste.
