The
Town Manager’s Office is responsible for the overall administration of
the town government in concert with the goals and policies as
established by the Town Council. Responsibilities of the Town
Manager’s Office include the exploration of policy options and
alternatives and implementation and execution of policies and objectives
formulated by the town Council; the preparation and administration of
the Town’s budget; the development and recommendation of policy
solutions to community problems; the planning and development of new
programs which will meet the needs of the Town; the administrative
direction and coordination of departmental operations; the development
and timely completion of capital projects; economic development and the
facilitation of effective and cooperative interaction with community
organizations, town employees, and other governmental organizations.
